| "Fusion",
an ability that when performed right, bonds two warriors into one
more powerful one. It is used during tight spots in DragonballGT.
An example being the fusion of Goku and Vegeta into Gogeta in order
to defeat Janenba in Movie 13. In order to fuse the 2 warriors must
perform the fusion dance perfectly. There is more to fusion than this.
Here are some requirements of fusion. |
| Similar
Power Levels |
| This
is made easier by Saiyans because of their ability to control their
power level. This aspect of fusion is taken into consideration when
Goku almost had no choice to fuse with Mr. Satan since his power would
only increase minimally. |
| Perfect
Symmetry |
| This
means that the fusion dance must be completed absolutely perfectly
by both warriors to prevent the potentially powerful warrior-to-be
from becoming a "Fat/Thin" Gogeta or "Fat" Gotenks
which were examples of a disrupted fusion dance. |
| There
is another kind of fusion known as the Potarra Fusion. This is achieved
when each warrior wears a Potarra, or Kaioshin earring on opposite
ears. They are drawn together in a permanent fusion. This is achieved
by Goku and Vegeta to form Veggetto, an extremely powerful warrior.
He is more Vegeta than Goku and quite cocky. However the fusion is
cut short because when Veggetto let himself be absorbed by Buu to
save the others that had been absorbed by him and thus cancelled the
fusion. There is another kind of fusion called Namekian Fusion. Can
only be done by two Nameks, touching each other, one concentrating
his energy to form the one being |
